Baltimore Ravens vs. Cleveland Browns Pick, Prediction, and Odds
In one of the many divisional games on Sunday in the NFL, the injury-plagued Baltimore Ravens are heading on the road to take on the Cleveland Browns and their young offensive core. The Ravens are fresh off of a brutal loss to the Houston Texans 43-13, but are still sitting at 5-2 on the season and are at the top of the AFC North, just ahead of hated rival Pittsburgh. The Browns on the other hand may be 2-6, but with their young team, this is definitely considered to be a rebuilding year for the team. They are starting a rookie quarterback, rookie running back, and they have a rookie wide out getting a ton of looks as well. This week though, the two are in a big game for both sides, as the Ravens need to keep winning to hold off the Steelers for the top spot, and the Browns are hoping to get into some type of potential playoff talks.
The Ravens seem to be struggling to find an identity right now. They want to let Joe Flacco air it out, but this is taking away from their stud running back, Ray Rice's, touches in a huge way. Rice needs to have the ball in his hand, and regardless of whether it is through running plays or passing plays, they are a better team with Rice having the ball consistently. It's not all about the offense though, as the Ravens' defense has been struggling a bit since they lost both Ray Lewis and Lardarius Webb to injuries for the entire year, both which are huge losses.

The Cleveland Browns have actually been much better than many people thought they would be, mainly due to their young group of starters. Trent Richardson looks like the real deal this year, and they definitely want to continue to feed him the ball. Brandon Weeden on the other hand has improved throughout the year, and I think that the Browns could really have something nice in the next year or so here.

This is a very interesting game, as the Ravens are fresh off of a huge loss, while the Browns are coming off of a win last Sunday. Don't look too much into these two results though, as I think that the Ravens are still a better all-around team right now than the Browns. More importantly though, I think that John Harbaugh is going to have his team ready to rebound after that tough loss. Expect the Browns to keep things tight into the second half, but for Ray Rice and Joe Flacco to get the job done at the end of the day and to not only get the win, but also to cover the spread of -3.5
Pick: Baltimore Ravens -3.5
