Baltimore Ravens vs New England Patriots Odds, Prediction, and Pick
We can't forget about the HUGE match-up between the Baltimore Ravens and the New England Patriots this coming weekend. This one has a ton of hype surrounding it, and it's for a good reason as well. The Ravens have one of the strongest defenses out there, while the Patriots have one of the best offenses in the NFL. These two things set up quite the interesting match-up this weekend, and one that will decide who will represent the AFC in the 2012 NFL Super Bowl. The Patriots are fresh off of a huge win against Tim Tebow and his Denver Broncos team, which ended 45-10, but to be honest it was much worse than that. The Ravens on the other hand definitely sweat a bit in their match-up with the Texans. While they won the game 20-13, they had their hands full with a Texans team who was looking to prove that they could make a deep run even with their team hit hard with the injury bug.

This match-up is the early game on Sunday, and will kick off at 3:00pm EST. The game will be played in Foxboro because the Pats were the number one seed in the AFC. The two match-ups to watch for this weekend are Pats quarterback Tom Brady against this tough Ravens secondary, and also the Patriots pass defense and Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco. The reason for this is interesting though. Flacco has been up and down, and if the Ravens are going to pull off the upset on the road, they'll need him to be on point. On the other side, the Ravens defense is going to need to find a way to slow the always-hot Tom Brady.

It's tough not to love this Patriots incredible offense in their home stadium in the playoffs. I think that the difference maker will be none other than Tom Brady, but that it will be quite a bit closer than people are expecting. The line is pretty big, and the Patriots look like they are the real deal this year. I'm going to take the Patriots to win this one by a touchdown, but the game itself will be much closer than that.

I love the fact that this line is +7.5 for the Ravens. Their defense will do enough to keep them in the game, and I think that they can get the cover of +7.5 on the road. Also, keep an eye on Ray Rice for the Ravens, as he should have a big game as well. I'm picking the Baltimore Ravens to cover here, but not quite be able to pull off the win on the road this Sunday.
Pick: Baltimore Ravens +7.5
