Baltimore Ravens vs Pittsburgh Steelers Odds, Prediction, and Pick

In one of the biggest match-ups of the upcoming weekend in the NFL, the Baltimore Ravens will travel to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday Night Football. First off, we all love a good Sunday Night match-up, but this one should be one for the ages. These two teams hate each other perhaps more than any two teams in the NFL, and there will be an incredible amount of fire in this game. If you remember earlier in the year, the Ravens took down the Steelers in week 1 of the 2011 NFL season in a 35-7 beat down at home. This time, the game will take place in Pittsburgh, and features a Steelers team who is fresh off of probably their most impressive win of the season; a 25-17 win over the New England Patriots. The Steelers are currently sitting at 6-2, and are atop the AFC North. To make things even more interesting, the Steelers have now won four games in a row, and their opponents have now won 4 of their last five games. The Ravens are sitting at 5-2 overall, and are sitting just behind the Steelers.

The two teams have been led by strong offensive play, but it has been thanks to two different positions. The Ravens are constantly led by running back Ray Rice, who looks like he is potentially one of the best running backs in the game right now. The Steelers have been led by Ben Roethlisberger, who is really starting to show how strong his game is overall this year. This match-up will kick off at 8:25pm EST and should draw an incredible amount of attention from not only sports fans, but also from sports bettors as this is an excellent betting option for week 9 of the NFL season.

This one just looks like one that the Ravens could struggle to keep up in. Not only are the Steelers hitting on all cylinders right now, but they are also thinking about revenge after that painful week one loss to the Ravens. I see the Steelers jumping all over the Ravens, and the road team doing their best to get back in the game late in the second half. It won't be enough for Baltimore though, and I think that the Steelers will win it by a touchdown at home this week.

When you find a match-up between the Ravens and the Steelers, you'll find that the sports betting line on the game is normally around -3 for one side (typically the home team). This time it is the Steelers, but I think that they are going to give Joe Flacco fits all day. I'd be shocked if the Steelers don't win this one by more than three, and I love the home team's crowd to help fuel the win as well. I'm picking the Pittsburgh Steelers to get the win and the cover here.
