Cleveland Browns vs. Minnesota Vikings Week 3 NFL Pick
You have to feel for the fans of this Brown's team. After consecutive losses to start the season, the Browns traded away their franchise Runningback to the Colts yesterday in exchange for a 1st round pick next year. Presumably, this pick will be used to improve their Quarterback situation, nonetheless it almost certainly spells doom for the 2013 Browns squad.

Starting QB Brandon Weeden is out for week 3 with a hand injury, and the team signed free agent Willis McGahee to fill the massive void at the Runningback position. The Browns have also decided to start with veteran 3rd string Quarterback Brian Hoyer, skipping over 2nd stringer Jason Campbell for an unknown reason. To recap, a 3rd string Quarterback will start, a Runningback that hasn't played a down since last year will be part of a Runningback-by-committee group, and a locker room that is now without their clear-cut best player is likely feeling a little gloomy heading into Sunday.
On the other sideline this week is a team that put together a valiant effort in a heart-breaking loss in week 2. The Vikings had the lead with less than 20 seconds to go in the game, but thanks to a fantastic throw and catch from the Bears' Jay Cutler to Martellus Bennett, the Vikings were downed 31-30 in a thriller in Chicago. The Vikings return home this week where they are 7-1 straight up in their last 8 games. They have the reigning NFL MVP who ran for an even 100 yards in week 2, after scoring 3 TD's in week 1 (both on the road).
My Pick - VIKINGS -7 (+105) 5 Dimes
The Vikings are averaging 27 points per game so far this year, compared to the Browns averaging 8 points per game (and that was with their starting QB and franchise RB). The Browns are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games overall, and 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games on the road. The Vikings are 5-1-1 ATS in their last 7 games at home. Take Minnesota to cover the spread at a good price against a very lowly Browns team.
