Buffalo Bills vs. Indianapolis Colts Odds, Prediction, and Pick

To kick off our Sunday with a small slate of games due to Thanksgiving, the Buffalo Bills are going to be heading on the road to take on the Indianapolis Colts, who are surprising right in the mix for a possibly AFC playoff spot. Interestingly these two teams are actually in opposite spots of what many people expected, as the Bills were hyped as a potential playoff team for this season, but they are 4-6 overall and have had quite a few ups and downs. For the Colts and rookie quarterback Andrew Luck though, they are 6-4 and a win here pushing them to 7-4 would leave them in a great spot heading into the final few weeks. This game will kick off at 1:00pm EST on Sunday and it will be played in Indianapolis.

For the Bills, they have been fortunate to have a two headed monster in Fred Jackson and CJ Spiller at running back because of the injury issues that the two have had. The question for the Bills has been Ryan Fitzpatrick's ability to avoid turnovers, and also for the Bills' run defense to slow down opposing backs. They have really struggled quite a bit at this, but fortunately for them, the Colts are all about airing the ball out, so if they can slow down Luck then they could potentially walk away with a win in this game.

For the Colts, you know what you can expect from them. Just like when Peyton Manning was running the show there, it's going to be quite a bit of passing with Andrew Luck, and this means that we could expect a good number of catches for Reggie Wayne and the other young receivers for the Colts. They've had an excellent season and Colts' fans definitely have a bright future to look forward to. Don't overlook the Colts, but the question mark for this team is going to be their defense and whether or not they will be able to slow down Fred Jackson and CJ Spiller on Sunday.

The Colts are definitely getting the edge on their home field here, and especially with the fact that these fans are smelling another playoff berth. While the Colts may not be Super Bowl contenders in my opinion this year, I do think that they have more than enough talent to be able to knock off the Buffalo Bills on their home field. The Colts offense is very good right now, and I think that the defense will be able to do enough to slow down the Bills and get the job done. I'm taking the Colts to win the game here by a touchdown at home 28-21.
