CB Series 2nd Final: Australia vs Sri Lanka Pick, Prediction, and Odds
First final of Commonwealth Bank series was not meant for faint hearted ones. Sri Lanka nearly clinched victory from nowhere but, in record books, it would be written as a loss. Now, the two teams would meet in 2nd finals in Adelaide on 7th March. Match would begin at 03:20am GMT. Sri Lankan bowling was looking very weak as David Warner slammed every bowler to various areas in the boundary and went on to score his maiden ODI hundred. He scored 163 at just over run a ball. Sri Lankan batting lineup somehow managed to get close to the target but were 16 runs short of the victory.

Both teams would go into the Adelaide match with heads up as both the teams played fabulous cricket. All of the Australian batsmen showed some form with the bat in first final or in previous matches of the series. Australian bowling too has performed well in previous matches. Looking at the way Sri Lankans have played in the series so far, they should not be underestimated. They have some high class batsmen in their squad and good spinners who might prove to be handy in Adelaide. It would be a crucial final for both the teams. If Australia wins, there would not be another final and Sri Lankans would fly home to prepare for Asia Cup. Let's see Sri Lanka would face the dominant Australian team with good home support.

Can World Cup runners-up bounce back to defeat World's number One? Can they bounce back after first final's heart breaking loss? It would be interested to watch. They have some match winning players in phenomenal form but Australians are ahead and they have been in this kind of situation before and they know how to handle it. It is a perfect setup for another thrilling encounter between the two teams. If I have to bet, I'll place my money on Australia as their entire team looks to be in form of their life.
» Man of the Match Prediction
David Warner played a very good, long innings that would have given him a lot of confidence and He might repeat his magical show again. Shane Watson bowled exceptionally well and picked three wickets with economy rate less than under 4.0. He has shown some batting form and he is my pick for Man of the Match.
