Chicago Bulls vs New York Knicks Odds, Prediction, and Pick
In one of the more interesting NBA match-ups that we have coming at us in the upcoming weeks, the Chicago Bulls will head on the road to Madison Square Garden, where they will take on the New York Knicks. Both of these two teams entered the season with high hopes, but only one has lived up to the hype so far, as the Chicago Bulls have gone 16-4 through their first 20 games. The Knicks on the other hand have struggled quite a bit to get anything going, even with the likes of Carmelo Anthony, Amare Stoudamire, and Tyson Chandler. They have put together an overall record through 18 games of 7-11, and are going to need to turn things around quick as we have a shortened 66 game schedule for this NBA season.

This match-up is set for Thursday, February 2nd at 8:00pm EST, and while many people feel that the Knicks gain an edge in the Garden, that hasn't been so this year. The team is only 3-6 at home this season, and part of this is due to some early injury issues. The problem for the Knicks is that they can't seem to KEEP winning. They had a nice three game win streak going in early January, but ended it with a streak of six straight losses in a row. Obviously a game against a team like the Chicago Bulls and Derrick Rose isn't something they are looking forward to right now, but they'll have to be prepared as the Bulls had won 14 of 16 games at one point during January. The Bulls look like a force this year, which should make this match-up a fun one on Thursday.

Interesting game here with the Bulls on the road. If Chicago was the home team then I think it'd be an easy decision, but I feel like this one is going to be much closer than people are anticipating. While I think the Knicks are going to turn it around and become a playoff team, it's hard to pick against Derrick Rose to win a game, especially when his team is playing this well. So I'm going to take the Chicago Bulls to pull out a nice road win by three on Thursday.

While the Knicks in the Garden have been fun to watch in recent years, they aren't going to turn it around over night. I expect them to get it going before the end of February, but asking them to do it within two weeks of that painful losing streak will be tough. I'm going with Chicago to win it here.
Pick: Chicago Bulls -3.5
