Green Bay Packers vs Kansas City Chiefs Odds, Prediction, and Pick
These two teams in this match-up both had some interesting news come out about them this week, and both have quite a few story lines. For starters, the Kansas City Chiefs decided to fire their head coach, Todd Haley, after a 5-8 start to this season. The Chiefs have had a tough outing this year though, as they've lost their starting quarterback (Matt Cassel), running back (Jamaal Charles), safety (Eric Berry), and tight end (Tony Moeaki) to season ending injuries. The team will turn it over to Romeo Crennel for at least the remainder of the season. As far as the Green Bay Packers go, they just recently lost star wide receiver Greg Jennings to an injury for at least 2-3 weeks, and of course everyone knows about their attempt for an undefeated season currently. The Packers are led by possibly the best quarterback in the NFL in Aaron Rodgers, and the teams passing game is definitely on point right now.

The Chiefs will need their defense to step up in a big way in order to stop this Packers passing game, but just as important, they'll need their offense to get the job done against this strong Green Bay defense. The Chiefs have looked lame on offense since losing Cassel and Charles, and the team has their work cut out for them for the remainder of the season if they want to finish with a respectable record, and also if they want to fight to keep Crennel as their head coach when the year winds down.
This game kicks off at 1:00pm EST, and fortunately for the Chiefs, this game will be played in Kansas City.

The Chiefs are going to need some sort of a miracle to stop Aaron Rodgers this weekend. The team seems to be in shambles after losing five of their last six games, and the teams only win coming against a Bears team without their starting quarterback and running back as well. I think that the Packers are going to throw all over the place against this depleted Chiefs roster, and that this one could get ugly quick. I can't see the Chiefs putting up many points either, so I'll be taking the Packers to get the win by three touchdowns this weekend.
- Prediction: Green Bay Packers- 35 Kansas City Chiefs- 14

The spread for this one is big, but it definitely should be. The Packers are by far one of the top teams in the NFL, and they are up against a team who has almost seemed to pack it in for the season. I'm going to ride the Packers, and I think that they could potentially be going undefeated this season. Look for Aaron Rodgers and wide out Jordy Nelson to put up big numbers, and also to get quite a bit of help from the running game with Ryan Grant. I'm picking the Green Bay Packers to win and get the cover of the -14 spread.
- Pick: Green Bay Packers -14
