Green Bay Packers vs St. Louis Rams Pick, Prediction, and Odds

Week 7 kicks off with some interesting 1:00pm match-up's, and one of the interesting ones features the high powered and now rejuvenated offense of the Green Bay Packers against the completely rejuvenated team in the St. Louis Rams. The Rams have really turned it around with new head coach Jeff Fisher leading the charge, as they are 3-3 and have had a close loss or two to go along with it. The Rams may be in last place in their division currently as the other three teams in the 49ers, Cardinals, and Seahawks are all 4-2, but they've played well. The Packers on the other hand are 3-3 after a huge win on the road against the previously undefeated Houston Texans on Sunday Night Football last weekend, but are behind the Bears and Vikings and the division.

The Packers and their fans are hoping that they are back and at full strength once again with their passing offense from the past few years. Green Bay struggled to get it going early on this year, but quarterback Aaron Rodgers went off for six touchdowns last weekend against one of the best defenses in the NFL, and now he's hoping to put up another big performance against the Rams. With Cedric Benson going down to an injury and the team bringing in Alex Green at running back, they are likely to rely on the passing game again in week 7.

The Rams on the other side of things are going to keep doing what they've done so far this season which is just keep building the run to set up the pass. Sam Bradford has had a solid year and if he can keep from turning the ball over then they'll have a good chance to knock off the Packers. The Rams are also going to need their defense to show up in a big way against Aaron Rodgers and that passing attack, as this is going to be the best way for them to be able to hold off the Packers and not let this game turn into a shootout.

If the Green Bay Packers offense really is back at full strength in terms of the potential behind their passing game, then the rest of the league could be in trouble. After they did it just a week before against the Houston Texans, the St. Louis Rams have to come in ready to go. It's not going to be easy, and while I don't think that Aaron Rodgers is going to go off for six touchdowns, I do still expect him to have a big game. The Rams defense will do a good job of keeping it close, but in the end the Packers are going to out duel the Rams by a touchdown.
