Houston Texans vs. Tennessee Titans Odds, Prediction, and Pick
This Sunday we have an interesting match-up between two AFC South teams, but the two are going in different directions this season unfortunately. For starters, the Houston Texans are rolling with the best record in the NFL as they are 10-1 overall and look like they are one of the best teams out there as well. Even though they have suffered some injuries to their linebacking core, they are still a very talented team all around. They are going into Tennessee to play against the 4-7 Titans, who are still in a rebuilding phase with young quarterback Jake Locker and running back Chris Johnson. The future does look bright for the Titans, but they need to continue growing and keeping their young players getting better. Kickoff is set for 1:00pm EST on Sunday.
The Texans offense and defense are both on point right now, even without the linebackers who are hurt. I do think that the linebacker situation could cause a bit of a bump in the road possibly, but the Texans offense is talented and can overcome this. Most importantly though, the Texans defense has done a great job with the "next man up" motto, which I think they'll live up to this weekend. Houston is well-coached, and looking like they are ready for the postseason right now, watch out for the Texans throughout the rest of this season.

For the Titans, they are really hoping that Chris Johnson has been able to get things rolling again. He started off the season on the complete wrong foot, but has been much improved as the season rolled on. Jake Locker also suffered an early season injury but seems to be back again and playing some solid football. The Titans offense isn't quite there just yet, but they are slowly improving each week, and I don't think that this rebuilding phase will last too much longer in Tennessee.

This is an interesting line here, as the Texans are absolutely one of the best teams in the NFL. I can't see them losing their five game winning streak here to the Titans, even if they are on the road. Tennessee is improving, but their defense is still struggling right now. That doesn't bode well for Tennessee, as they are going to be up against talented players like Arian Foster, Andre Johnson, and Matt Schaub. I'm expecting a big offensive day from the Texans, and I don't think the Titans will be able to slow them down. I'm going with Houston by ten.
Pick: Houston Texans -6
