India vs. England T20 preview, Prediction, and Pick
Now that test series is concluded, India would be looking to change their fortunes just like the format. Not more than a week ago, teams were toiling hard for success in longer version of the game. Now, the focus shifts from longest version to the shortest version of the game. The second T20 between India and England would be played at 7pm IST on 22th December at Mumbai. It's a different format and a completely new team for England. Only Root, Patel, Bresnan and Bairstow are the players who played test series. India, on the other hand, has the same basic side, with a few changes. Dhoni stays as captain and much of the team remains same. Since, the changes are drastic, both teams and format, it's difficult to comment regarding their form.

The last T20 match between these two sides was in ICC World T20 and India won the match by a whopping margin of 90 runs with spinners leading the attack. Indians tried the spinning formula in tests and were outplayed by England. They lost to Australia after that, but went on to book a win against Pakistan and South Africa.

England's latest T20 run has been rather unimpressive. They managed to win only one game in super-eight stage of recently concluded World T20. They have a fairly new team, without any major experience of playing in subcontinent conditions. Eion Morgan, their captain, though with an unorthodox technique, is one of best players of spin bowling and would have to lead from front if England have to outplay India in T20 series too.
After a flop show in tests, the experienced Indian side would be looking to gain some momentum and confidence before Indo-Pak series whereas English players would be looking to continue their feast in this festive season.

Can India beat England to regain a bit of lost momentum and confidence? It's definitely possible; although Indian side looks to be down and out, they are still very dangerous group of players, especially in Indian conditions. England lack experience, but T20 is much about energy. Indians have the right combination of youth and experience which can drive them home.
» Man of the Match Prediction
There were many decent performances in Test Series, but T20 demands something else. Scoring runs quickly and being a miser is equally important as staying on the crease or picking up wickets. Both teams have some strong players who can turn the match on their head. I'd go with Yuvraj as he can bowl, and is exceptional when he gets going with bat.
