Indianapolis Colts vs. Kansas City Chiefs Preview, Prediction and Pick
One of the NFL match-up's for week 16 of the NFL season that's very interesting, but may not catch your eye right away, is the Indianapolis Colts heading on the road to take on the Kansas City Chiefs. These two teams are going in completely different directions, and last year the Colts had the first pick in the draft and selected Andrew Luck, who has led them to an impressive 9-5 record. The Chiefs on the other side are looking like they are heading for the first pick in this year's draft as they are 2-12, and you'd expect this one to be a blowout right? Well, the Chiefs have kept many games close, and their defense has done a good job, especially at home. The Chiefs are at home in this game as well, and kickoff is set for 1:00pm EST.

The Colts have been very impressive, mainly due to the fact that they've won games even when they've struggled offensively. Andrew Luck has tossed quite a few interceptions this year, but that's common for rookie quarterbacks. He's also shown signs of being a great leader, and he looks like the future for this Colts' offense. Their run game hasn't been overly impressive, which makes their 9-5 record even more impressive right now. Winning this game will get them into the postseason, so they'll be looking to make a statement in Arrowhead Stadium.

The Chiefs have struggled offensively quite a bit, mainly because they can't seem to find the answer at the quarterback position. Brady Quinn has started the past few games, and they have talked about bringing in Ricky Stanzi as well. Regardless of who is back there at quarterback, they are really going to need to get Jamaal Charles and the run game going to have a shot to win this game on Sunday afternoon.

I simply can't roll with the 2-12 Chiefs in this one. I think that they'll come out with intensity because they typically do, especially at home. The Colts are just a better team, and I'm not sure that the Chiefs' secondary will be able to shut down Andrew Luck and the Colts' passing game. Reggie Wayne and TY Hilton have both been huge, and I'm expecting them to have good games as well. I'm going to go with the Colts to win this game by ten on the road.
