Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Denver Broncos Week 6 NFL Pick
What Peyton Manning and the Broncos offense is doing this year is just pure insanity. It's becoming very difficult to describe just how talented this team is on the offensive side of the ball. Even last week when the rare event of Manning being statistically outplayed took place, the Broncos came out with a win after giving up 48 points. Peyton has 20 touchdowns this year, and didn't throw his first interception until the game this past Sunday in Dallas.

Denver's top 4 receivers, Demaryius Thomas, Julius Thomas, Wes Welker and Eric Decker (all with 300+ yards receiving) have combined for 19 of those 20 touchdowns. Not only do the Broncos have the best QB in the NFL this year, they have the best receiving group as well. In fact, out of those 4 receivers, Welker has the least amount of receiving yards. Knowshon Moreno has has a very impressive bounce-back year so far in 2013, running hard and physical, averaging 5.1 yards per carry and finding the endzone on 4 occasions. With Manning completing 76% of his pass attempts on the season, a very solid running game, and a flurry of talented receivers all over the field, it will not surprise me to see the Broncos put up another 45+ point game on offense.
The one thing that could be the demise of the Broncos later this year in the post season is their defence. Tony Romo threw for 506 yards against them last week, including 5 touchdowns. Now this is not an explosive Jags offense by any stretch of the imagination, but Denver ranks 29th in the NFL in home pass defence this season. Justin Blackmon and Cecil Shorts have the ability to make plays for the Jacksonville offense, and we saw last week that is it possible for wide receivers to have a field day against this Denver defence.
My Pick - OVER 53 (-110) 5 Dimes
At the end of the day, this game puts the league's number 1 offense against the league's 31st ranked defence. The OVER is 5-0 on the year for Denver, 7-1 in Denver's last 8 home games, and 5-1 in their last 6 home games against Jacksonville. Take the OVER on Sunday and watch Peyton go to work once again.
