Kansas City Chiefs vs. Cleveland Browns Odds, Prediction, and Pick
The Kansas City Chiefs are coming off of one of the toughest games that they probably will ever have to play after losing one of their teammates to a brutal suicide. Thoughts must go out to Javon Belcher's family, and the team definitely rallied to win last week after that emotional time. It was only the Chiefs' second win of the season, and now they are going into Cleveland to take on the 4-8 Browns who have actually won two games in a row. While these two teams are both at the bottom of the standings, this could still be a very interesting game and could be a great one to bet on as well. Kickoff is set for 1:00pm EST.
The Chiefs are going to need to run the same offense they ran last week, and just need to make smart plays. Brady Quinn played an excellent game, and Jamaal Charles did as well. The defense stepped up big when it mattered most in the game, and I think that the Chiefs are just going to stick with their same offensive game plan. Fortunately, I don't think that the Browns offense is going to run over this Chiefs team as they are still working through a few road bumps. The Chiefs aren't going to light up the scoreboard offensively this year either though, so it'll make this game fun to watch.

The Browns on the other side are going to lean on that run game with stud rookie running back Trent Richardson. Richardson has been great this year, and the Chiefs are going to have some troubles slowing him down. Brandon Weeden has also shown some signs of being strong as well, and it looks like he could be a good quarterback in the very near future. I'm interested to see how the Browns offense does against this Chiefs team, but they definitely get an edge since they are playing at home.

I do think that the Browns should be favored in this game, but the line has moved from -5.5 for the Browns up to -6.5. I'd be shocked to see it go to -7 or -7.5 though, as winning by a touchdown could be tough for the Browns. I think that this game will be quite a bit closer than everyone is expecting it to be, and that in the end it'll be a win for the home team, but only by about three or four points. My prediction for the game is a 21-17 win for the Browns.
Pick: Kansas City Chiefs +6.5
