Los Angeles Clippers vs Orlando Magic Odds, Prediction, and Pick
In the first Monday of February we already start off the month with a huge NBA match-up between two potential playoff teams for this season. The Los Angeles Clippers have proven that they belong among the top in terms of the rankings for the NBA, as they have posted a 12-6 record through 18 games of the season. The Orlando Magic on the other hand will be the home team in this one and have a solid 12-9 record themselves. Both of these teams have some stud players throughout their lineups, but the Clippers lineup is just about what you would expect from a team from Los Angeles. The match-up that I'm most excited for in this one comes with the two biggest names and biggest players in the game in Blake Griffin for the Clippers and Dwight Howard for the Magic. Both guys have the potential to dominate games whenever they want, and it'll be interesting to see who has the better game in this one.

The Magic struggled a bit to end the month of January as the lost four games in a row after starting 12-5 before that, and looking like a serious contender to compete with the Miami Heat for the Eastern Conference. The Clippers on the other hand actually won three games in a row to end January, and this was in part thanks to the strong play of Griffin, but also their strong starting lineup that includes another superstar in Chris Paul, as well as excellent players in Chauncey Billups, Caron Butler, and Deandre Jordan. This game will kick off at 7:00pm on February 6th, and should be one of the most bet on match-ups of the day as well.

It's tough not to love this Clippers team right now. The entire team is finally clicking, and the role players are stepping up when needed. On top of that, Chris Paul is at the top of his game and I'm not sure if anyone is going to be able to slow him or the Clippers down. One of the Magics' weak points is their point guard position, and I think that Paul is going to take advantage of this. I'm going to ride the Clippers even though they are on the road, and I think they'll win this game by a solid five points, and get February going the right way.

I'm liking this one to be close, but I like the way that the Clippers are playing team basketball right now. With all of the strong players on Los Angeles many people were afraid that they wouldn't be able to work as team, but they've proven everyone wrong.
