Miami Dolphins vs. New England Patriots Preview, Prediction and Pick
This weekend the Miami Dolphins are going on the road to simply play for pride, but interestingly there's a chance that the New England Patriots are going to be playing for something. The Patriots are currently sitting in third in the AFC, but could end up anywhere from 1st to 4th when the day is done. If the Patriots win, they could steal the top seed potentially, but would need some help. Regardless, Tom Brady enters week 17 with something to play for, and I'm interested to see how that goes for the Pats and Bill Belicheck as well.

The Dolphins have been better than many people expected, as rookie Ryan Tannehill led them to a 7-8 record to this point, and if they win on Sunday they'd finish at 8-8, which is solid for a team who doesn't really have a overly incredible number one receiver. The Dolphins are at least heading in the right direction though, and Tannehill looks like he could be a strong quarterback in the future, so that's exciting for their fan base. I also really like what Reggie Bush brings to this team, and if he could stay consistent and comes back, the Dolphins could be in for a very nice year next year.

For the Patriots though, it's been another season in double digit wins. They went 11-4 this year so far, and another 12-4 season would be pretty impressive. They head into the postseason as one of the favorites to compete for the AFC title and possibly the Super Bowl as well. Tom Brady is still on another level from most quarterbacks, and you have to be excited about how well this team brings in results year in and year out. I'm expecting the Patriots to come out on Sunday with another big offensive performance in week 17 against the Dolphins.

Sorry Dolphins fans, I just don't believe that you can go into New England in this big of a game for the team and pull out the win. I do like the line at -10 for the Patriots, but I wish it was a little big lower (obviously under 10). I'll still take the Patriots here with the -10 points, as I expect Tom Brady to be able to put up quite a few touchdowns in this one and get the win by about two touchdowns to 17 points. I'm betting on New England.
Pick: New England Patriots -10
