Minnesota Vikings vs Green Bay Packers Odds, Prediction, and Pick
While Monday Night Football betting is one of the most bet on single game's each week, this match-up between NFC North teams should draw quite a bit of sports betting action. The defending Super Bowl Champion Green Bay Packers look like a powerhouse, and are sitting at 8-0 overall. There are talks surrounding them of "undefeated", and any team who has them on the schedule will be in for a tough one. This week, they're at home against the hated Minnesota Vikings and their rookie quarterback Christian Ponder. Ponder has looked good in his starts to this point, but Minnesota has only won two games this season (most with Donovan McNabb). What's even more interesting about this match-up is that the Packers and Vikings just met three weeks ago in Minnesota, in a game that resulted in a 33-27 win for the Packers. That game was much closer than most people anticipated, and it'll be interesting to see if this game has a similar outcome.

It's tough to not love the Green Bay Packers. And I don't mean that just in this game, but really in any match-up against almost any team in the NFL. The Packers are definitely one of the best teams in the game, and they'll be a popular pick to win the 2012 NFL Super Bowl. As strong as I think the Vikings defense is, I don't think they'll be able to do enough to slow down Aaron Rodgers and get this road win. The Packers home fans will be loud and ready to go, and I like the Packers to pull of the home win. I'll be looking for a Packers win by 17.

This line being set at -13.5 with the Packers as the favorites should draw some attention. While the Vikings have looked much better with the rookie quarterback at the helm, I'm not sure he'll be prepared to go into Lambeau and keep this one close. I think it'll be close throughout the first half, but I'm seeing an all Aaron Rodgers and company second half. I'm picking the Green Bay Packers to get the win and the cover on Monday night.
