The Final Four of the 2012 NCAA Tournament has two of the best all-around college basketball match-ups in recent memory set for it, and this one features the Ohio State Buckeyes, who are a two seed out of the East Region, against the Kansas Jayhawks, who were the two seed out of the Midwest Region. Both of these teams are lead by incredible coaches in Thad Matta and Bill Self, both of which are going to have some solid game plans set up to stop their opponent in this Final Four match-up on Saturday night at 8:49pm EST in New Orleans. The Buckeyes finished the year at 31-7 overall, while the Jayhawks were 31-6, and it is more than just the records of these two teams that are similar overall.

Ohio State got here by beating some solid teams in Loyola (MD) in the first round, Gonzaga in the round of 32, Cincinnati in the Sweet 16, and Syracuse in the Elite 8. Kansas knocked off Detroit in the opening round, Purdue in the round of 32, NC State in the Sweet 16, and North Carolina in the Elite 8. The most impressive victories for both teams came in the Elite 8 against the top seeds in their brackets though, as Ohio State won by 7 and Kansas won by 13. Coming into this tournament neither of these two were the hot picks to win the NCAA Championship, but one of them is guaranteed a spot in the National Championship game on Monday night now.

What a game this one will be. These two teams are playing at the top of their games right now, and we have a match-up that people are incredibly excited for between All-American's Thomas Robinson of Kansas and Jared Sullinger of Ohio State. While I'm expecting big games from both of these two, it will really come down to the role players for both teams. While Kansas has a strong point guard in Tyshawn Taylor, I just think that the Buckeyes have more tools to pair up with Sullinger than Kansas does to pair with Robinson. With that being said though, expect a close game from the word go that could potentially even come down to the last possession. I'll take the Buckeyes by a basket.

The line here originally started out at Ohio State -2, but has moved to -2.5. I'll be watching this line carefully, but I definitely like the Buckeyes by about one hoop, so my pick will be based on that. Currently though, I'm going with the Jayhawks to get the cover in a close Final Four match-ups, in large part thanks to a big time game from point guard Tyshawn Taylor. I'm picking the Kansas Jayhawks.
Pick: Kansas Jayhawks +2.5
