Philadelphia Eagles vs. Washington Redskins Odds, Prediction, and Pick

This week two NFC East teams who have suffered some tough losses over the past few weeks are going to be going at it in Washington. The Philadelphia Eagles not only have lost five games straight, but they also lost their starting quarterback to a severe concussion as well. Philadelphia is definitely reeling right now at 3-6, and the fans out there are calling for major changes, but one of them has already happened with Nick Foles now leading the charge there. The Redskins are 3-6 as well, and have lost three games of their own, but have lost some close, tough games.

The Eagles are going to need to set up a game plan that is going to get the ball into LeSean McCoy's hands. Nick Foles had some strong moments last weekend when he got in there, but they really need to find a way to get Foles out of trouble behind that below average offensive line. The defense hasn't been great either, and they are going to need to force Robert Griffin III into making mistakes if they want to get this win.

For the Redskins it's going to be about RGIII and if that running game with Alfred Morris can take some of the pressure of him. They've done a great job of it in the past, and their offense has been strong at points, but they need to change up the play calling a bit in my opinion on those tough third and goals and third and short situations. Expect a big game from Griffin against this struggling Eagles' defense though, and I think that the Washington Redskins defense is likely to make life pretty tough on the rookie quarterback and teh rest of the Eagles offense.

It's tough to bet on the Eagles right now during this bad stretch that they're having. In all honesty though, I do think that the Eagles had a better chance with Michael Vick running than show than they do with the rookie Nick Foles. The Eagles offensive line has been a serious issue and no matter who is back there playing quarterback they are going to have some issues getting away from the pressure. Foles is going to be forced into some tough decisions throughout the game by this Redskins' defense and I think that the Skins' are going to be able to get the job done at the end of the day by a touchdown.
