Romney vs Obama Presidential Election Odds, Predictions and Picks

The 2012 Presidential election is heating up quickly, and both sides have taken part in some serious debates to this point. Many people have varying opinions about which way that the election is going to end up going, but some feel that Barack Obama is the likely choice to remain in office because of the fact that he was the past president elected four years ago. It's going to be a close race though, as others feel that Mitt Romney has been on top of his game at the recent debates that the two sides have had. Now that things are really coming down to it though, we have to take an in-depth look at which side is the likely choice that is going to take down the election and be our president of the United States. What some people actually don't know is the fact that you can actually bet on who will win the presidential election at many online sports betting sites, and that it can be a great betting option also. Let's look at both sides and give a prediction and pick.

Mitt Romney was the former governor of Massachusetts, and he's been rich for, well, a long time. Romney is essentially a big time businessman, and many people feel that a big time businessman is exactly what the United States needs in their president. He made his millions of dollars through a company in which he co-founded that was called Bain Capital. Romney is known for his business instincts, and while he's 65 years old and has quite a head of hair, he definitely has a way of persuading people and convincing them that his plan is going to work, just as his plans have worked in the past. The issue that people are having with Romney is the fact that he made a whole lot of cash from parting out the companies, which ended up leaving the blue collar employees without jobs.

As far as the current president Barack Obama goes, he took the world by storm four years ago . He came in as the choice that many people felt would really make a difference, and he preached hope and change to the people of the United States. Four years have now gone by though, and some people are saying that his plan not only hasn't worked, but that it's not headed in the right direction either. This has left them hoping for change in the office and the hopes that Romney will be the next president. The people are in Obama's corner feel that he's helped out in a major way with people who really needed the help, and also that his plan is actually working, but he simply needs more time to finish it.

While Obama is currently holding the office, most feel that this gives him an edge over his opponent, and it does. The issue that I really see here is that people are really beginning to buy in to what Romney is preaching. While the Romney supporters are going to stick with him throughout, the recent debates have helped him pick up a few additional supporters as well it seems. Obama supporters from the past who aren't willing to believe that things are heading for the better are likely to make the change as well. I think that this race is really going to come down to it and it could be a tight race to the finish. When all is said and done though, I believe Mitt Romney wins the election.
