Tottenham vs Everton Odds, Prediction, and Pick
What an interesting match-up we have here this coming week between Tottenham and Everton. Both of these teams had high hopes entering this season, and both of these teams have also definitely had bright spots at points throughout this year. This match-up will be played at White Hart Lane, home of the Tottenham Hotspur, who may be one of the most impressive teams so far this season. Tottenham has put together an incredibly strong record of 13 wins, 3 draws, and 3 losses this season. More importantly, they have a total of 42 points, a +16 goal differential, and they are only three points behind the second place team Manchester United. A few weeks back it seemed that Tottenham could potentially make a push into the top four, but they have surpassed that, and are looking towards surpassing one of the biggest names in the world. Just to note, this leaves the Hotspur only six points behind the league leaders, Manchester City as well.

Everton on the other hand has put together a total record of 7 wins, 3 draws, and 9 losses. They have a total of 24 points in league play, but the real problem has been their goal differential which is only -2. They do have one of the stronger goal keepers out there in Tim Howard, who actually scored in their last game as well. Howard will be a big part of this game, as he'll have to slow down a Tottenham offense which includes names like Emmanuel Adebayor, Gareth Bale, Jermain Defoe, and Rafael Van Der Vaart. Everton is definitely talented enough to pull an upset at White Hart Lane, and this game should be a good one.

This game will be a close one I think, and I could definitely see Everton coming out with a ton of energy here. The difference in the end will really come down to the fact that Tottenham is at home, and that their offense is really hitting on all cylinders right now. They simply have a ton of talent through the midfield and up front, and their defense has been incredibly strong recently as well. Everton will have a tough time scoring in this game as well, so this all adds up to a Tottenham win, and them holding their position in the top three.

Any Barclays Premier League game can be tough to call, but this one really comes down to the fact that Tottenham knows what is in front of them. They have a serious chance to be able to make some noise, and to even possibly end up in the top two of the Premier League. In order to do that though, they have to continue to win, and winning at home is a must for this team. I'm picking the Hotspur to be pull out the win here, and even though the odds aren't incredible, I still really like this bet.
