UFC 135 Odds & Predictions
The UFC hosted their 1st ever event in Denver nearly 20 years ago and they've never been back to the city. Dana White has been planning a PPV event for the mile high city and it's just about here. UFC 135 is scheduled to take place on September 24th 2011 at the Pepsi Center in Denver. Fans in the Denver area have been getting ready for this event for awhile now and the main card is going to be exciting, as it'll include Jon Jones 1st title defence. Ben Rothwell and Mark Hunt are also fighting on the main card at UFC 135, but there have been no odds released online for this fight yet.

» UFC 135 Main Event - Jon Jones vs. Quinton Jackson
Quinton Jackson (32-8) will try to win the UFC LHW title against Jon Jones (13-1) in the main event at UFC 135. Jones is a beast and has been taking out everyone in the LHW division. Jon has tons of advantages in this fight including reach and speed. One of the biggest problems for Rampage in this fight is going to be trying to get inside on Jones. Jones is very powerful with his strikes from a distance and I don't think Jackson will endure much punishment before throwing the towel in. Look for Jackson to come out swinging for the TKO/KO, but if he doesn't connect early I expect Jones to win by TKO/KO in the 1st or 2nd round.

» UFC 135 Main Card - Josh Koscheck vs. Matt Hughes
Matt Hughes (45-8) is a legend and will be fighting Josh Koscheck (15-5) on the main card. Hughes hasn't fought since the end of last year when he got knocked out by BJ Penn at UFC 123. Hughes has to be getting close to retirement now and I think this fight could be his last possibly. Koscheck hasn't fought since UFC 124 when he lost a decision to St. Pierre. I expect Koscheck to win this fight fairly easily, but you never want to underestimate Hughes. Due to the odds I'd consider betting on Koscheck on a parlay or to win the fight by stoppage.
» UFC 135 Main Card - Travis Browne vs. Rob Broughton
Travis Browne (11-0-1) and Rob Broughton (15-5-1) will be meeting on the main card at UFC 135. I still don't know too much about Broughton, but I'm betting on Browne to win this fight. Broughton came over to the UFC last year and picked up a submission win and will now be looking to beat some tougher competition. Browne has already beat James McSweeney and Stefan Struve in the UFC as well as tied Cheick Kongo. Browne, Jones and Koscheck on a parlay looks like a solid bet.
» UFC 135 Main Card - Nate Diaz vs. Takanori Gomi
Nate Diaz (13-7) hasn't been doing great lately, but he'll look to bounce back against Takanori Gomi (32-7). Diaz is on a 2-fight losing streak with those losses coming against Rory MacDonald and Dong Hyun Kim. Takanori on the other hand has been submitted by Kenny Florian and Clay Guida recently, but he also picked up a KO win over Tyson Griffin. Diaz has never been knocked out, so it's going to be hard for Gomi to win by TKO/KO, which means he'll need to try and win a decision. Diaz should look to submit Gomi, as that's where Gomi struggles. I'm betting on Diaz to bounce back, as this is a must-win fight for him.
