Silva vs. Weidman II Odds & Picks
Anderson Silva -140 vs. Chris Weidman +120
Anderson Silva (33-5) underestimated Chris Weidman (10-0) in their first fight back in July of this year at UFC 162. Weidman looked good in the opening round and in the 2nd round he took advantage of Silva's cockiness and laid him out to win the fight by KO. Several fighters have been able to give Silva a challenge, but Weidman has been the best by far. Weidman was comfortable in the 1st fight against Silva. Even if Weidman didn't get the 2nd round KO I still think he would have ended up winning the fight. This is such a tough fight to predict. Weidman looked great in the 1st fight, but now Silva knows he can't take this fight lightly. This is his chance to get the title back. I just don't think Silva is that hungry for the title and my money will be on Weidman to win again. Weidman averages 4.21 takedowns per 15 minutes and he lands them 66% of the time. Silva is more accurate in the stand-up and he has great kicks that he can utilize, However, Weidman has the power and the ground game to retain his title and silence critics.

Rousey vs. Tate II Odds & Picks
Ronda Rousey -1000 vs. Miesha Tate +650
Ronda Rousey (7-0) and Miesha Tate (13-4) have fought once already with the Strikeforce promotion. Tate almost lasted the entire opening round against Rousey, but before the bell to end the round Rousey was able to sink in an armbar and make Tate submit. In Rousey's UFC debut in February she was able to armbar Liz Carmouche right at the end of the 1st round as well. Rousey has won all of her professional fights by armbar. No one has been able to get out of the first round and it's obvious why she's favored to win. Last time Rousey fought I remember betting on the fight lasting over a round and it just missed. I'm going back to the well and will be betting on this fight to start round 2 (+147). At plus money I think it's worth a shot and the best bet for this fight. I expect at some point in the fight Rousey will be able to sink in the armbar. In the cage it seems like that is all that's on her mind, but her odds to win by submission are -380. Tate almost made it out of the 1st round last time and I think she will in the rematch.
