UFC on FX 1 Odds & Predictions
The UFC is going to be on every weekend for the next few weeks starting with UFC on FX 1 this Saturday. UFC on FX 1 is a special event that will air on FX and Fox this weekend. The preliminary card can be watched live on Fuel TV on Saturday before the main card starts on FX and Fox. Four fights will be on the main card at UFC on FX 1, but I'm only excited for the main event. We've posted picks for the main card fights below and included the current odds, which were just released at online sportsbooks tonight.

Melvin Guillard +150 vs. Jim Miller -170
Melvin Guillard (29-9-2) and Jim Miller (20-3) are fighting in the main event at UFC on FX 1. Both fighters are desperate for a win this weekend after suffering setbacks to finish off 2011. The winner of this fight will instantly become a contender in the division while the loser may not see a main card fight in the foreseeable future. Jim Miller lost to Henderson in brutal fashion and now he needs to bounce back against a potential KO striker, which isn't going to be easy. I like Miller to win and keep his title hopes alive.
Josh Neer +100 vs. Duane Ludwig -130

Lots of action has been coming in on Josh Neer (32-10-1) since the lines opened up tonight. Duane Ludwig (21-11) is the favourite right now in the fight, but that might not be the case by Saturday. I bet on Neer at +100 already to lock the bet in before the odds drop further. Neer is a live underdog on the main card this weekend at UFC on FX 1 and I definitely feel that he can win this fight. I think Neer will use his boxing initially, but later on in the fight he should look for a submission over Ludwig.
Jared Papazian +270 vs. Mike Easton -360
Jared Papazian (14-6) is going to be making his UFC debut this Saturday against Mike Easton (11-1). Easton is a big favourite and I think he'll be able to win the fight by knockout. Easton needs to try and have a nice stoppage victory to improve his stock in the UFC and I think he'll be hungry in the cage on Saturday. Obviously there isn't much value betting on Easton at -360, so I'll be waiting to see what the props look like and will most likely bet on Easton to win by stoppage.
Christian Morecraft +120 vs. Pat Barry -150
This fight doesn't interest me because I'm not a fan of Pat Barry (6-4). Barry is on a 2-fight losing streak and this could be his last fight in the UFC if he loses this fight. Barry has a strong fan base, which has kept him alive in the UFC. However, this could be his last fight if he hasn't improved considerably. Barry has some nice power due to his kickboxing background, but he doesn't have enough skills in the other facets of his game. I still like Barry in this fight because it's do or die for him, but I wouldn't write Morecraft off, as he's another live underdog. I'm staying away from this fight, but I think Barry will win.
